Israel Tan meets the military specs for tactical ground vehicles and support equipment, such as armored vehicles, transport vehicles, trailers, shelters, generator housings, and field-support equipment, which must match a tan/desert theater color scheme to provide camouflage protection. Other uses include military platforms that need a low-visibility sand/tan finish for visual blending in dry, dusty terrain. In addition, specialized enclosures, racks, housings, and metal assemblies used in military settings often carry the same requirements.

Importantly, the CARC coating facilitates easier decontamination after exposure to chemical agents.
