Shipping Policy

Thank you for shopping with JDL Industries, Inc. Please review our shipping policy below for important information about how we handle delivery of your orders.

Shipping Method

Products are shipped in accordance with JDL Industries, Inc.'s standard shipping process. If you require a specific shipping method, please contact us prior to placing your order. Alternative shipping arrangements are available subject to our approval and may incur additional charges.

Delivery Times

We will use our best efforts to deliver Products within the time quoted at the time of your order. However, all delivery times are estimates only and are not guaranteed. We are not liable for any shipping or delivery delays, including delays caused by shipping carriers, customs processing, or events outside our control.

Shipping Terms (FOB)

Unless otherwise specifically stated on your invoice, all Products are shipped FOB (Free on Board) from JDL Industries, Inc.'s place of business or the manufacturer's facility, when applicable. This means that title and risk of loss pass to you once the Products are transferred to the shipping carrier.

Inspecting Your Order

You are responsible for inspecting all Products upon delivery. Please check your shipment carefully for any damage before signing for delivery when possible.

Damaged Shipments

If Products are damaged during shipping, you must file a claim directly with the shipping carrier within 72 hours of receipt. You are responsible for all expenses related to the carrier claim. Please note that you remain liable for payment of goods to JDL Industries, Inc. regardless of the outcome of any carrier damage claim.

Taxes, Duties, and Additional Charges

Unless otherwise specified, prices on Products are exclusive of all federal, state, municipal, local, or other governmental taxes, levies, assessments, duties, or other charges. Where applicable, taxes and duties will be added to your invoice as a separate charge.

Title and Risk of Loss

Unless specifically stated otherwise, all sales are FOB Seller's location. Title to Products passes to you upon delivery to the carrier. For Products sold FOB destination, title passes upon arrival at the specified destination. Charges at destination for spotting, switching, handling, storage, and other accessorial services are your responsibility. All risk of loss transfers to you at the point title passes.
